Author Press Kit For Barry Ferguson
Barry Ferguson is a #1 Best-Selling Author, Speaker, Teacher & Transformational Life Coach who is fiercely committed to guiding Christians through the hills and valleys on their journey to achieving a more balanced spiritual lifestyle so they can fulfill the promise God has made to them.
As a devout Christian, he uses unconditional love as his main tool in inspiring and motivating his clients to achieve their special dreams and make an impact on the world. He lives both his professional and family life through this one very important principal: “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.” – Philippians 2:3
His Core Coaching Beliefs Include:
- He believes everyone was born to make a difference in this world and he want to show how to make this happen.
- He believes everyone has a dream so big that it can change lives and he wants to help individuals realize their wildest dreams.
- He believes everyone deserves to be happy and he wants to show individuals what real happiness is all about and help them find the love and respect that is theirs for the taking…
He considers his life meaningless unless he can give it for another. Whatever he does, he does for God. Only then will his life be worth something.
Born on the Jersey Shore, he spent many a summer’s day riding the waves and eating hot dogs and hamburgers at the beach but coming from a broken home put him way behind the eight ball for a good portion of his youth. But don’t feel sorry for him because it took a lot of hard work, unconditional love from God and plenty of unwavering faith to get to where he is today.
He knows what it’s like to experience the highs and lows that life sometimes throws our way. He learned early on that he would have to fight his way through the harsh realities of life such as surviving his parent’s bitter divorce and dealing with losing his first love to leukemia as a teenager.
It was things like these that have made him stronger as a person and have given him the impetus to help others to deal with life’s many problems.
Despite his own failures in life, he’s picked himself up and learned from those mistakes to help others do the same. He believes everyone deserves to be loved and he will not stop until he spreads his message of unconditional love throughout the world.
What lights him up about this type of work is that he can do God’s will here on earth and see how unconditional love changes people from the inside out.
What Can You Expect From Him?
He’s human. He’s made mistakes but nothing can stop him from opening his heart to those in need.
The world’s a tough place to live in but if you call him, he’s there for you!

Sample Interview Questions
What were your goals and intentions in this book, and how well do you feel you achieved them?
I wanted people to understand they are not alone in this world and there are individuals that truly care about them. There is far too much violence and hatred in the world and it’s not good enough to just talk about it. We need to take action on our words and make things happen. Faith is nothing without action and knowledge takes you nowhere unless you use it for good. I wanted to raise the consciousness of the world by bringing God’s word to the masses in such a way that brings us all together no matter what faith we have. It’s all about sharing and caring as humans, not what color we are where we come from. We’re all humans and unconditional love is what binds us together.
What makes your book stand out from the crowd?
Too often, authors write at their audience instead of for them and with them. I have included both a Questions To Ponder and Action Step sections after each chapter as a way to get my readers fully involved. To make your words come alive, you have to inspire and move them to take real action. It’s about leading others to make a difference. If you can’t do that then you’ve failed at standing out from all the followers.
What hurdles did you have to overcome in order to write and publish your books?
I have always been a practicing Christian but after surviving not one but two near-fatal car accidents in a six week period at the end of 2014, God decided he wanted to use me to make a difference in the lives of others. Four herniated and crushed discs in my back, two in my neck, and three successive surgeries later have resulted in physical pain that will last me for the rest of my life but it’s the emotional nightmare that I will never live down.
These are the sad remnants of the two accidents but one nagging question kept going through my mind since the crash. “If I had died, could I honestly say that I gave more love than I received?” Sadly, the answer to this question took me several months to figure out (I guess I didn’t want to accept the awful truth) while I went through a grueling physical therapy. Though I only missed a few days of work during that time, I couldn’t get the idea of love out of my head. Trying to figure out why my life was spared when others weren’t so lucky was something I couldn’t fathom at the time. I was alive yet most of me felt dead inside. I believe it was love that saved my life.
