motivational quotes

Life is full of obstacles. It is those ups and downs that makes life worth living. Sometimes, these obstacles can deter our spirits and bring us down but real motivation is what it takes to get us back on track.

Are you motivated to attain your goals?

Are you motivated to make a difference in life?

Nothing says success like a motivated action. How often are you motivated to achieve a goal.? Those who make motival a key part of their life are the ones who succeed.

The sources of motivation can come from many places but your beliefs determine where you will go in life. How you motivate yourself is just as important as where the motivation comes from. When you know what is possible to achieve you can set your motivation in motion.

The quality of your thinking depends on  controlling what you think about. Those thoughts and feelings will determine what your actions should be and your results you get depends on how motivated you are.

None of us would ever admit it but we all struggle to get motivated. In the May 2011 issue of The Harvard business Review, authors Teresa Amabile and Steven J. Kramer explain the reason behind why motivation brings progress in our work.

“Through exhaustive analysis of diaries kept by knowledge workers, we discovered the progress principle: Of all the things that can boost emotions, motivation, and perceptions during a workday, the single most important is making progress in meaningful work. And the more frequently people experience that sense of progress, the more likely they are to be creatively productive in the long run.”

Motivation forces us to set and attain our goals and while research has shown  you can influence your own levels of motivation, self-control must be part of the equation. We can motivate ourselves all we want but the motivation must set us on a firm course that gets positive and attainable results.

With social media bringing the world closer together, it’s time to become the leader and make your mark in the world. It seems individual personality has been lost and most people would rather join the rest of society and be a follower. People have forgotten how to think or act on their own without being told what to do or how to do it. It’s all about striving to be your authentic self. That is where your uniqueness and beauty ultimately lies. The more comfortable you are in you own skin, the more confident you will feel.

9) “The distance between insanity and genius is measured only by success.” –Bruce Feirstein

It’s a thin line between those that succeed and those that don’t. We forget how long and how much sweat and hard work went into success but those that fail only need to continue their efforts.
